  • Hattie B’s - This is a staple when visiting Nashville. Hot chicken is famous here and does not disappoint! I love the dark meat plate and my bf loves the sand-which!

  • Epice - Lebanese restaurant in 12 south. Incredible Food. Very vibey atmosphere. Great date night spot.

  • LA Jackson rooftop - This was the first rooftop Jacq’s ever hit up when she moved to Nash and is hands down her favorite for guests. It is right in the Gulch and sits on top of the Thompson hotel. It is one of the few spots that you don’t need to make a reservation and can usually get a table right away. The views of the city are amazing and I love to sit outside. Their drinks are delicious, but be sure to GET THE TRUFFLE FRIES.

  • ACME rooftop - This bar is located right at the end of Broadway, so it’s right in the scene of things but usually not as crazy. The inside is great if you can’t hit up the roof, but the roof has awesome views. They always have live music which makes this place even more fun. The second floor has really good sushi!!

  • Sixty Vines - New on broadway and great for big groups! Italian with an endless wine selection, but also delicious mixed drinks. Perfect for those who want to hit broadway after or see a show!.

  • Rolf & Daughter - They have outdoor cozy seating and the most insane pasta.

  • Rare Bird Rooftop - close to broadway for a more upscale vibe rooftop vibe. They also have a speak easy in the bottom of the same hotel!

  • House of Cards - This place is an EXPERIENCE. It is a speak easy, fine dining restaurant. Located near Broadway with no sign, it is right underneath the Johnny Cash museum. The second you enter you feel like you are in a different world. The food/cocktails were amazing and they have magicians come to your table throughout the evening, then at the end you attend a magic show. It was definitely a pricey/longer dinner experience than just going to a nice dinner.

  • Hampton Social - Such a fun spot for for brunch, but legit everyone there is a bachelorette party haha! hamburger is fantastic.

  • Pinewood Social - Another awesome brunch spot. Good for big groups and they have a bowling alley in the back you can hit up after a couple mimosas.

  • White Limozeen - Another rooftop spot and Dolly Parton inspired, the decor is as extra and girly as can be. Grab your girlfriends and head here for brunch! Make sure to book reservation ahead of time.

  • Butchertown Hall - A great brunch/dinner spot if you want some southern food, but a little more refined/trendy. Southern Mexican maybe? Feel like everything in Nash is a fusion of some sort haha.

  • Henrietta Red - Oysters in Nashville? You heard that right. This restaurant is a small, aesthetically pleasing spot right in the heart of german town. Their mushroom tagliettelle pasta is also amazing. Also, seem to be a celebrity hot spot.

  • Barcelona - This restaurant is not local to Nashville, they have a few locations across the US, but it is still one of my favs. Its main focus is wine and tapas. I love bringing a small group here and ordering a ton of different tapas, so you can get a little taste of everything.

  • Butcher & Bee - Open for brunch, lunch and dinner. We recommend brunch and get the whipped Feta!

  • 5th & Taylor - This is a great spot for a date night. The atmosphere is really romantic, but still has industrial warehouse vibes. A nice balance between classy and trendy. It is definitely more upscale, but not unnecessarily expensive. Be sure to get the cucumber gimlet!

  • Bourbon Steak - 360 views of the city and a meal you will talk about for weeks. The perfect fancy date night spot.

  • Hearts Nashville - East nashville spot - great for breakfast with healthy options and mimosas! Love their relaxed outdoor area and eggs benny.

  • Earnest Bar & Hideaway - Dinner & drinks with a viby retro city atmosphere.

  • Merchants - Right on Broadway in the middle of all the craziness, but still gives chic Parisian bistro vibes. Sit in the cafe section for more energetic atmosphere - steak & frites are next level.

  • The Treehouse - Cutie restaurant in east Nashville. Superior brunch spot. Great Bloody Mary

  • Sadies - Another mediterranean spot. This one has an intimate atmosphere, but still great size for groups. Family style is the way to go and order heavy on the appetizers.

  • Old Glory - speak easy behind edghill, some nights they even have silk dancers!

  • Lou - Located in an old house it has a super intimate romantic atmosphere. Another great spot to do family style. Their menu is seasonal and always changing, but have never been dissapointed!

  • Adeles - Cute dinner or brunch spot. Love their savory appetizers.

  • Restoration Hardware - This restaurant is always fun to attend because you can also walk around and look at all the beautiful display rooms and furniture pieces. Their food is pricey, but delicious and usually pretty big portions. Great spot for the gals!

COFFEE + QUICK EATS

  • Osa Coffee - Just a little spot to grab and go! Fun to walk around the Edgehill shopping center or walk through Vandy. They also have yummy muffins and croissants.

  • Barista Parlor - This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Nash. It is a great spot to get work done or just grab a bite to eat. Their chorizo burrito is SO GOOD and they also make a mean avocado toast.

  • Greenery co - healthy fast casual salad spot! The interior is absolutely stunning and salads are so fresh!

  • Poindexter - This coffee shop is in the graduate hotel and is just so fucking cute. This whole hotel is inspired by Dolly Parton and their decor is kitchy and mix/matches everything you could dream of but somehow it works. Absolutely love it.

  • Cafe Roze - Great spot for brunch and has killer cocktails!

  • Frothy Monkey - this place has great coffee and sandwiches! We grabbed lunch to go one day and all were very happy with our meal.

  • Proper Bagel - Great bage, but long wait. Also sounds random from a bagel shop, but their matzah ball soup is dank.

  • Crieve Hall Bagel Co. - Best bagels in Nashville.

  • Five daughters - This placed has the BEST donuts, hands down. Eating one of their 100 layer donuts is like sugary magic in your mouth.

ACTIVITIES

  • Broadway - You will understand why they call Nashville “Nash Vegas” the second you step on this street. Every bar has live music, on every floor. Get your dancing shoes on and hydrate because its going to get rowdy!!!

  • Walk around 12 south - tons of cute restaurants, shops, and antique stores to check out.

  • Walk around the gulch - another hot spot in the heart of Nash. Shopping, restaurants, and lots of fun murals!

  • Arrington Vineyards - We spent half a day here and it was such a blast. We drove out early to walk through franklin and grabbed some donuts at Five Daughters bakery to bring to the winery. We also brought a charcuterie board and had a nice little picnic while all sharing some of the local vino. We even had one of our friends one year old with us and he loved it. Great spot for big groups and families! Be sure to bring some blankets in case you want to sit on the grass :)

    • Update: Been here a few times since and it is consistently a good time. Great for groups and budget friendly because you can pack your own picnic!

  • Spend a day in Franklin - super cute little town, reminds us of our college town near Chapman University. Lots of cute little boutiques and antique stores. Waltons Antique Jewelry is one of my favorite places to spend time in here! They have beautiful vintage pieces and are super helpful.

  • Drive around and look at houses - Brentwood, Belle Meade, and Franklin. We scoped Zillow for some nice ones we wanted to admire and then drove around the neighborhood it was in.

  • Pins Mechanical for night out. They have tons of different games, including pinball machins and duck pin bowling. It is great for groups and always a a good time. They also allow dogs, so Maverick is a big fan! They don’t have food options, but allow you to order food for delivery and eat it there which is pretty convenient.

  • Fort Negley - Really cool historical site, but also just a great spot to walk around. It has gorgeous views of the city and is just about 5 minutes from the heart of Nash.

  • Sports Game - This city has some loyal fans and great teams to support. Nashville SC, Titans, Preds!!!! Cheer on Jacq’s fiance who plays defense (#4) on the Nashville SC!

  • Percy warner park - So many different trails to explore here. Easy to get lost, so make sure you check your path. Also, the neighborhood drive here is fun to look at all the beautiful homes.

  • Rent a boat and have a lake day! You can do water sports, float, or hook up in party cove and make some new friends!

  • Radnor lake - Great for hiking on the dirt trails or walking your dog on the paved path. I always see turtles and deer here as well. One of my favorite places for a quick and gorgeous run. Parking can be tough on weekends, so go early. Weekdays parking is usually easy!

  • Grand Ole Opry - About 15/20 minutes outside of town, but worth a tour! They do an amazing job of showing how emotional and powerful country music stars connect to this stage and club.

FITNESS

  • TruMav - I mean if you want a local hero, Tim McGraw is your guy. He is a co-owner of this gym and his name isn’t the only thing that has people coming back. Great circuit training classes and welcoming vibe. Also, right next door to Kristin Cavalari’s Uncommon James store which is fun to check out.

  • Shed Fitness - multiple spots across Nash and available via class pass. One class will kick you butt and its a good HIIT style workout to get your sweat in, but also not waist any time on your trip!

  • Hotbox - In the heart of the gulch, this place is a KILLER kick boxing and weight training studio.

  • Studio Pilates - West Nashville studio with the aesthetic and challenge of an LA pilates studio.

  • Hot Yoga of East Nashville - Authentic yogi vibes with a wide variation of classes. Be sure to bring your water and arrive early to grab a good spot.

  • 7 Minutes Fitness - Strength Training/circuit style workout. Concept is you can join every 7 minutes, so great for those who want a flexible start time.
