CAMP JACQS | Tahoe Bachelorette Weekend
First things first: ALL HAIL my two sisters. They hosted this entire weekend and planned it to perfection. I am forever grateful to the both of them!!!
Michelle was on mom mode to the max (classic older sister). Grilling the meats, driving people everywhere, and helping make everything flawless per usual. And my little sister, Juliana….good lord. Talk about showing us how it is done. She majored in event planning, so was head bish in charge of planning the weekend and she did not disappoint. Every detail was so freaking thoughtful and everything ran so smoothly all weekend. Truly if you need a bachelorette consultant (or really any events) you should reach out to her because her talents are next level.
How we chose the destination:
I knew I wanted a mix between adventure and luxe relaxation. Tahoe was always a front runner, but we also looked at Jackson hole, White Fish, and Sun Valley. They were all amazing but housing options were limited for our budget and group size. Plus, Tahoe has always been a special place to me since growing up in Northern California. I have the best memories here and just love to embody the lake life energy. A good chunk of our group had not been to the area before either, so it was fun to see them experience it for the first time.
Arrival:
We drove from Marin County and stopped in Sacramento to stock up at Costco on the way. This is the closest Costco to the Tahoe area, so recommend trying to arrange someone to drive up if possible or fly into Sac and rent a car to help stock up on food and drinks. ARRIVAL OUTFIT was comfy casual.
We had a group that flew into the Reno airport where we had them rent a car for the weekend. Having this car and the large car we drove up in made it so much easier to get around all weekend because ubers are tough to find in the area. Also, shoutout to my mom and dad who gave us a ride one night too LOL.
House:
We rented THIS air bnb and it was phenomenal. Fit so many people and had tons of bathrooms which is key. Great balcony and large table for big group dining. Plus a hot tub and movie theatre! Location is great for North shore.
Please note the decor details: mints on the pillows, camp themed names on the doors, large cut outs of the fiancè and pup just to name a few. The color theme we stuck with was green (kinda like a bottega green meets forest green) for the weekend and the house happened to have green couches which matched so well haha.

HORSEBACK RIDING
This was such a relaxing and beautiful activity. I feel like it was a fun experience to all do together because so many people had never been on a horse before! It was stunning to ride through the trees and across little streams. Everyone at the ranch was very kind and made our experience so much fun. Plus, they were able to accommodate seventeen of us which was amazing and all their horses looked so happy and like they were very well cared for. ALPINE MEADOW STABLES
MY OUTFIT was so extra but I loved it so much. Jeans are my favorite go-to jeans. You’re cute jeans ;)
LAKE TIME
After horseback riding we all went back to the house to freshen up and change. Then we headed right to the lake.
We hung out on the dock, jumping into the water, paddle boarding, and just laughing and lounging for hours. One of my friends brought her tarot cards, so we did some readings and just chatted about life.
My cutie patootie parents brought us lunch from a local sandwich shop (we had sent out a sandwich order form to everyone before the weekend and pre ordered the sandos). Juliana designed these cute lunch boxes to share and label everyones sandwiches. Of course the sticker was the perfect touch to keep the theme going. Obsessed.
They also brought my dog Maverick, so he got to hang out with us for a bit which was so fun! He even paddle boarded with me and loved it.
MY OUTFIT I kept fairly simple, but my friends surprised me with this incredible sash! With girl scout badges and everything! It honestly was the cutest surprise and was perfect for the weekend.

DINNER AT GARWOODS
This is legit the perfect place for a fun group dining experience. It is right on the water, so of course we planned to arrive early and we took tons of photos on the dock and watched the sun set. Dreamy. Magical. Chaotic in the best way with 17 people hahahaha.
We had a pre fixed menu that we organized with the restaurant prior and it made things so easy. Of course my sisters once again planned a ton of cute thoughtful surprises. The drink stirrers had a carved photo of me when i was dressed up as Sebastion from Shes the Man for halloween LOL and each place seating had a customized menu and cutely curated caramel apple lollipop (my fav candy). Be sure to have a Wet Woody while you are there….
For place cards we had a poloroid camera that they took individual fun photos of everyone with during pregame/before dinner and used those. It was soooo cute!
The restaurant has a bar and live music, so it gets fun and kind of rowdy at night. We did hit up another local bar afterwards but didn’t stay long. We just went home and hung out together at the house the rest of the night. Tswift dance party while we were all in our matching sweatshirts did commence.
MY OUTFIT was so comfortable and fun! I bought this dress a while back from Blush Boutique here in Nashville. I pinned the bow on the back myself just to add a little bridal spice. Heels extra high, but chunky because Tahoe is not built for heels hahaha.
BOAT DAY
We had such a big group that we had to rent two boats. We were a little nervous how it would work out, but it ended up being A BLAST. We took both boats out and then docked them in a cove for a bit so we could all hang together. We drank, floated, listened to music, etc. Then we went tubing and it was SO FUN. Pure comedy. 10/10 recommend for a good time.
We had the boats drop us off at the Hyatt bar and that’s where the party really turned up. Beware when you are a bride because everyone will be trying to buy you alcohol. It’s a blessing and a dangerous game.
We stayed out on the water until golden hour and watched the sunset. We headed back to the house afterwards and had an epic dinner. Tri tip, salmon, veggies, and a baked potatoes bar. Truly a dream. We played some fun bridal games included what did the groom say. Where they had a set of questions that Dave answered and recorded his answers which we then listened to as I answered the same questions in person. Tortilla game and chubby bunny were what we finished the night with hahaha
