4 Things I Swear by as a New Mom

2. BABY TRACKING APP - We love using an app to track all of the feedings for the girls. From the beginning it was hard to remember how much they drank, when they last pooped…all things you need to keep tabs on when they are little babies. The app made it simple to keep track and share between my husband and I. It has saved us a lot of stress from trying to guess or losing a piece of paper to track the old fashioned way. Even on the go you are able to log, so it makes it one less thing to worry about. It is a great way to visualize their daily timeline to learn more about their schedule and cues as they grow.
3. BOTTLE SANITIZER - Both grandmas were obsessed with our bottle sanitizers when they came to visit and help. They reminded us multiple times how they used to have to boil water everyday to sanitize theirs which sounds so much more inconvenient. I am grateful I have a sanitizer to make the process so much less of a hassle. Wash em’ out, throw em’ in, ten minutes and boom you are done. It is also great for breast pump parts. I put my Elvie ones in there every time!
4. ZIPPERED SLEEP SACKS - We started swaddling the traditional way, then upgraded to swaddles with velcro, and finally tried zippers. Third time was truly the charm because zippers make it so easy to zip the twins up with less fuss. As easy to clean as the rest, much simpler than the velcro ones that would stick to everything. Zippered sleep sacks are the way to go to make things easy, soothe your baby, and keep them safe. Our twins love them!
